First Festival Story

Back in October 2022, I participated in my first festivals, although it wasn't the greatest experience. I shared a booth with a good friend of mine, and we both sold crocheted items. Our setup left much to be desired; she occupied one side of the table while I managed the other. I didn't sell very much, but my friend did exceptionally well and ended up selling out.Shared with Your friends and Brianna's friends

Back Story

The story of Sizemore Made with Love starts back in 2010. I was about seven months pregnant with my daughter, scrolling through my phone and looking at homemade baby items. I came across a pink crocheted blanket and decided I would learn how to crochet. As a left-handed person, it was challenging to begin because most of the YouTube videos I could find were geared towards right-handed individuals. However, I did not give up. After months of trying to learn, I finally got the hang of it. I made my daughter's blanket; it was white and pink, though it wasn't the greatest. After my daughter was born, I continued working on my crochet skills. In just two months, I crafted four blankets, each one better than the last. Once I mastered blanket-making, I moved on to creating beanies for her and my ex-husband. Knowing the stitches from making the blankets made beanies easier. Festival 2024

 Continuing my efforts to make sales at festivals, I set up again at Court Days, a three-day festival. By the end of the first day, I had to return home to create more stuffed animals because the sales were incredibly successful. Knowing that people enjoy items made by my own hands motivates me to keep crafting for my upcoming festivals.
